VTB and Alfa-Bank Launch "Open Banking" Technology

VTB, together with Alfa-Bank, is implementing a pilot project to introduce the Open Banking standard on the platform of the FinTech Association. The companies announced this on the eve of SPIEF-2024. The new technology will allow customers to see all their accounts and products in one personal account and perform their usual operations there - for example, apply for a loan. The full transition to open interfaces in the financial sector is planned from 2026.

Sber began to transfer electronic tax guarantees directly to the Federal Tax Service

All types of bank guarantees in favor of tax authorities at Sber have become electronic: neither the client nor the bank needs to spend time receiving a paper copy. Moreover, such guarantees are now sent to the Federal Tax Service not by the client, but by the bank, which significantly speeds up their issuance. Technological interaction with the Federal Tax Service is carried out using the SberCorus digital document management platform, a subsidiary of Sber.
