The new solution, based on Open Metadata (OMD), allows bank employees to quickly find the necessary information, analyze the impact of changes, and improve data quality.

VTB Bank has decided to abandon the American Citrix development in favor of its own VTB.Cloud virtualization platform and a system for creating and managing virtual desktops from the Russian developer Basis. The transfer of most of the bank's employees to domestic developments should be completed by the end of 2024.

VTB Bank is implementing a Russian backup system (BRS) for the first time, which should eventually replace the foreign solutions used by the bank. Such systems are key in the IT infrastructure of any bank. They are used in all major elements, including user applications, ensuring data integrity and the continuity of IT systems. It is expected that by the third quarter of 2024, the share of Russian BRS software in the bank will be at least 80%.

Sber Private Banking clients will now be able to invest more efficiently thanks to up-to-date analytics from the Bank of Russia's press releases. They will be assisted by a tracker on the SBERMPCI monetary policy cycle index, created on the basis of artificial intelligence.
