The Russian developer of infrastructure software "Astra Group" and "Avads Hard", a manufacturer of equipment for industrial automation, have entered into a license agreement on cooperation.
As a result, a line of Russian panel computers AVADS ASP and industrial computers AVADS AVK running on the embedded version of the Astra Linux Embedded operating system has been released.
The companies have created highly reliable hardware solutions with an increased level of information protection for critical sections of automated process control systems (APCS). A special feature of the project was the implementation on 64-bit Arm architecture processors, which are distinguished by high computing, communication and graphics capabilities.
AVADS ASP and AVADS AVK devices are focused on a wide range of industries: oil and gas industry, energy, transport infrastructure and other segments where visualization and control of technological processes is required.
Astra Linux Embedded provides comprehensive cybersecurity necessary for critical information infrastructure facilities. The system implements mandatory integrity control, preventing the introduction of malicious code and unauthorized elevation of privileges, uses a closed software environment with a digital signature of executable files, and also provides management of connected USB devices to restrict access to data.
