The AI agent helps identify vulnerabilities and assess their criticality, as well as suggests secure solutions for remediation.
The updated security system includes the automatic creation of cards with descriptions of vulnerabilities, where the SourceCraft Code Assistant AI agent analyzes the degree of risk and offers recommendations for elimination. In addition, a vulnerability control center with interactive panels has appeared on the platform, which visually displays the affected systems, common types of vulnerabilities, and areas with increased risks.
To improve teamwork, the SourceCraft Code Assistant AI agent automatically generates a brief description of the changes made to the code, which speeds up developers' orientation in each other's edits. It is also now possible to record the composition of software versions and track their readiness, which increases the transparency of development and coordination between teams.
The updates are already available to all users for free. Dmitry Ivanov, head of the SourceCraft platform, noted:
Organizations have hundreds of developers, dozens of teams, thousands of repositories — there is a need for transparency of risks at the level of the entire business, coordination between teams, and managed access to code and infrastructure. We plan to expand SourceCraft in this direction. In the future, we will add multi-agency — AI assistants will understand the context of the entire organization, help different teams coordinate, and show managers where vulnerabilities affect business processes.
