When setting up targeting in the "Placement" section, advertisers will be able to select a new placement — "VKontakte: In Stories", and then upload a video of up to 30 seconds or an image. An example of how the banner is displayed in Stories can be previewed in the preview block.
Placement in Stories is available for promoting VKontakte communities and mini-apps, mobile applications, lead forms, and websites. In the "Awareness and Reach" section, the new format can be configured for banner and video advertising. The list of promotion objects is planned to be expanded in the future.

Previously, running ads in Stories was only possible in the VKontakte ad account, but now the option has appeared in VK Ads. Given the previous experience, we have increased the display time of the video in Stories. At the same time, the new placement is available for advertising campaigns not only for impressions, but also for performance.
Earlier in 2025, VK Ads introduced the ability to run ads in the "Carousel" and "Collages" formats, updated the audience expansion tool (Look-alike), and launched audio advertising.
