The company "Aktiv" has introduced a new compact Rutoken EDS 3.0 NFC 3100 Tag key fob, made in the format of a miniature smart card. The device is designed for mobile electronic signature and two-factor authentication, works exclusively via NFC and does not have a contact pad.
The Rutoken Tag is compatible not only with mobile devices, but also with desktop computers and laptops if there is a reader with NFC support. In addition, the device can be used in access control and management systems, combining the functions of electronic signature, two-factor authentication and access pass.
Like other devices in the Rutoken EDS 3.0 line, the key fob provides secure operation with electronic signature and authentication keys, performing cryptographic operations directly on the device without transferring key material to the computer's memory.
