Currently, the MTS Web Services R&D center is already developing software for robot models from Chinese manufacturers, and negotiations are underway with Russian companies.
The MTS Web Services team has announced the launch of the Physical AI R&D direction, aimed at developing technologies and software to create and support the cognitive skills of robots based on artificial intelligence capabilities.
The company is creating a cognitive system that allows robots to independently determine the context, conditions, and build an action plan. The technology is not tied to a specific manufacturer and is suitable for various types of machines.
MWS is developing software for robot models from Chinese manufacturers and is in negotiations with Russian companies. The business model includes individual training of machines in the skills of the customer's employees and the provision of a turnkey task automation service based on subscription.
Vyacheslav Grachev, Director of Technology at MTS Web Services, emphasized that cognitive robots are able to perceive the environment, learn, and interact in the real world. Pilot launches of the skills platform for robots are planned for 2026. In the future, these will be "smart" manipulator robots for warehouses and data centers that can diagnose equipment, replace modules, and coordinate actions with personnel.
