The updated devices completely replace the previous models and are already available for order.
The "Aktiv" company has started mass production of the updated line of "Rutoken EDS 3.0 NFC" devices in a compact Slim case. These devices support contactless electronic signature technology and have two interfaces — USB and NFC, which makes them convenient for both stationary computers and mobile devices.
According to the manufacturer, the previous model "Rutoken EDS 3.0 NFC" 3100 in the classic form factor required precise positioning of the token when working with mobile devices.
To improve usability, the company's engineers have developed a new Slim form factor. The devices have become twice as thin and light, and their design has become more modern. The antenna for contactless operation is located over the entire area of the printed circuit board, which makes it easier to position the token when using NFC.
The new line includes four models:
- «Рутокен ЭЦП 3.0» 3100 NFC Slim-A, сертифицированный ФСБ;
- «Рутокен ЭЦП 3.0» 3100 NFC Slim-A, сертифицированный ФСТЭК;
- «Рутокен ЭЦП 3.0» 3100 NFC Slim-C, сертифицированный ФСБ;
- «Рутокен ЭЦП 3.0» 3100 NFC Slim-C, сертифицированный ФСТЭК.
Models with a USB-C connector can be used both in NFC mode and with contact connection, thanks to the prevalence of the USB-C interface on tablets and smartphones.
