The number of applications for the domestic OS "Aurora" in RuStore has doubled in a year

The catalog includes messengers, marketplaces, banking applications, games and other solutions developed by Russian specialists.

In the RuStore store, the number of applications for the Aurora operating system exceeded 200, which is twice as many as a year ago. This was reported by the Open Mobile Platform.

In 2025, popular applications such as the Max messenger, the Wildberries marketplace, the Alfa-Bank mobile bank and others became available for the Aurora OS.

OMP noted that the increase in the number of applications was made possible by the use of popular development formats. For example, full support for the Flutter framework was implemented for the Aurora OS, which made it possible to port popular plugins and facilitate the transfer of existing Flutter applications to the Aurora platform.

Currently, work is underway to add Kotlin language support. The upcoming update of the Aurora OS version 5.2 is expected to support PWA (Progressive Web Apps). This innovation will allow you to run adapted web applications in the OS environment.
