During the "Secret Session" conference, organized by UserGate in collaboration with the "Cyberdome" project, a proprietary approach to providing information security services was presented.
The implementation of this approach was the formation of a separate UserGate uFactor division, which became an integral part of the UserGate Summa ecosystem. The predecessor of UserGate uFactor was the UserGate Monitoring and Response Center - a division responsible for providing customers with services in the field of information security incident detection based on its own competencies and analytics.
UserGate uFactor's activities are aimed at providing the company's clients with a full range of information security services. In particular, uFactor will prevent and protect clients' businesses from cybersecurity threats in the information environment that disrupt business process continuity.
Currently, uFactor consists of 13 teams. They include more than 50 specialists located in different cities where the company is present, from St. Petersburg to Irkutsk. These teams support three areas: the development of expertise used in the development of UserGate products and services; the provision of services related to audit and consulting; and the operation of SOC (Security Operations Center as a Service) - monitoring and analysis of information security events.
Thus, UserGate uFactor clients can receive a range of services: analysis of the level of security of infrastructures and systems, audit of information security processes in the organization, proactive threat hunting, development of an information security architecture, incident investigation and development of measures to prevent them, Virtual CISO (virtual Chief Information Security Officer) services.
