VTB presented a new POS terminal for stores, restaurants, hotels and the service sector at FINOPOLIS-2025. The Russian-made device is compatible with domestic payment technologies, including support for biometric authentication.

The device combines convenience and modern technology: a large touch screen with a simple menu, adjustable tilt angle and color indication of payment status. The terminal runs on a powerful processor with support for all types of communication (Wi-Fi, 4G, wired network), has many connectors for connecting additional equipment and integrates with cash register systems. This solution can be customized to suit the specifics of any business – from a coffee shop to a large store.

The terminal supports all major payment methods: bank cards, contactless payments via NFC, transactions using biometrics, including the 18+ goods payment scenario, and via SBP QR codes, as well as payment via Bluetooth (NSPK's Volna service).

One of the first solutions on the market that allows you to reliably confirm the buyer's age using biometrics was also demonstrated on the terminal as part of the forum. According to the bank, the process takes place using the NSPK biometric services platform and the Unified Biometric System, which means that the client is not required to present a passport. The process takes only a few seconds and simplifies customer service, and will also help businesses comply with regulations when selling age-restricted goods.
