As part of the service, multinode clusters are available "out of the box".
The MWS Cloud team, part of MTS Web Services, has launched the Managed Kafka service into commercial operation on the MWS Cloud Platform. The new PaaS service gives companies the ability to use Apache Kafka without the need to independently deploy and maintain clusters, which reduces operational risks and speeds up the time to market for data-driven solutions.
As the developers explained, Managed Kafka is a fully managed Apache Kafka service that allows clusters to be deployed in just a few minutes. It is aimed at medium-sized and large companies, technology startups, and teams developing microservice products and data platforms. The service ensures predictable behavior of streaming systems under high load thanks to integration with the managed network infrastructure of MWS Cloud Platform.
Managed Kafka supports security and isolation by deploying clusters in isolated infrastructure at the virtual machine level. Connection via Private Link is available for private scenarios. Management is carried out through the MWS Cloud Platform console, CLI, and API. The service is integrated with Audit Logs.
Managed Kafka can be used to build event-driven architectures, integrate microservices, provide real-time analytics, create streaming pipelines, centralize log collection, and develop solutions for IoT and telemetry.
