The service simulates the behavior of attackers.
F6, a cybersecurity company, has introduced a new active scanning service as part of its F6 Attack Surface Management (ASM) solution. This service is designed to identify vulnerabilities and insecure configurations in organizations' infrastructure.
The developers emphasized that active scanning is carried out in a safe and regulated manner, in compliance with ethical and legal standards, and only with the consent of the organization being investigated.
According to F6 ASM, Russian companies are found to have an average of 425 critical issues related to insecure server configurations and outdated software at the beginning of 2026. The average number of digital assets per organization is 4614, which increases the risk of cyberattacks.
F6 ASM TRY allows security specialists to conduct brute-force attacks on protocols, check domains for open folders, and scan ports. The service simulates the behavior of attackers, allowing them to test the security of the infrastructure against external attacks. At the same time, the service does not affect the resources being investigated.
Evgeny Chunikhin, Business Director of Threat Intelligence and Attack Surface Management at F6, noted that active scanning combined with passive analysis provides complete control over the attack surface.
The service is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Programs as part of the F6 Attack Surface Management solution.
