The device visually resembles a smartphone: touch screen, contour lighting, height-adjustable stand. Companies will be able to brand the new terminal with their corporate identity and use the screen as a space for advertising.
The first testing of the device is taking place at the Russian Retail Week 2025 from June 2 to 5. QR payments in the bank's terminals are processed through the SBP, without the use of their own pay-services. The bank explained:
This makes the commission for accepting such payments transparent and predictable - from 0% to 0.7% depending on the field of activity. The commission for card payment is from 0.54%.
The terminal will beavailable for companies throughout Russia - for rent, purchase or installment plan, with free connection and setup. A promotional period is valid for new clients: rent for the first three months at a symbolic rate of 1 ruble, and after that - at a fixed rate of 1 ruble with a turnover of 650,000 rubles per month.
