UserGate, a leading Russian developer of information security solutions, together with the system integrator "Neva-Automation," have completed a key stage of the project to implement a next-generation firewall (NGFW) at Sibsocbank LLC. The solution provides protection for the credit institution's network perimeter in accordance with the Bank of Russia's requirements for operational reliability and continuity of banking services.
Sibsocbank is a dynamically developing credit organization serving private and corporate clients in the Altai Territory and beyond. The bank has an extensive branch network, including branches in Barnaul, Biysk, Belokurikha, and other cities in the region.
The bank's modern IT infrastructure requires reliable protection against cyber threats, especially in the face of increasing regulatory requirements. The implementation of UserGate NGFW has made it possible to: ensure compliance with the requirements of the Bank of Russia, protect confidential customer data and transactions, and optimize licensing costs.
According to Oleg Mokhov, Head of the Information Technology Department at Sibsocbank, the key selection criteria were the price-quality ratio, customer focus, and the positive experience of other organizations.
Gleb Nesterov, Partner Account Manager at UserGate, emphasized that modern threats require comprehensive protection: "The key to successfully repelling attacks is maximum visibility of events on the network. UserGate NGFW provides deep traffic analysis, protecting the bank's critical infrastructure."
