The update will simplify the process of creating mobile interfaces. The new version is already available to users in open access.
DivKit now features a visual editor that allows you to develop interfaces without writing code - using ready-made elements, like in a constructor. The framework also provides tools for working with forms and animation.
According to Yandex, DivKit has already helped create more than 330 applications - including for companies such as X5 Group and VSK Insurance. The framework is also used within Yandex itself to develop key interface elements, such as the main screen of the mobile "Browser", as well as promotional screens, widgets, and stories in the mobile "Browser", "Shedevrum", "Travel", and "Yandex with Alice" applications.
Yandex is developing DivKit based on user feedback and has added functions to the updated framework that they themselves suggested - for example, tools that simplify working with forms and animation. The framework also includes support for local variables and custom functions - this helps to create interfaces faster, avoid repetitions, and simplify code.
