M.Video-Eldorado Group has summarized the results of tablet sales in 2024. According to the company's analysis, the demand for tablets in Russia showed steady growth, increasing by 22% in quantitative terms and by 23% in monetary terms compared to 2023.

At the end of the year, Russian consumers purchased 3.1 million tablets for a total of 63.5 billion rubles. The average cost of devices remained unchanged compared to last year and amounted to 20.3 thousand rubles. The main growth in sales was due to an increase in demand for affordable and functional models, as well as the active development of technologies that make tablets convenient tools for work, study, and entertainment.

Tablet Market Leaders in 2024

In 2024, among the brands that gained the most popularity in unit terms were Huawei, Honor, Samsung, Redmi, and Apple. In monetary terms, Apple holds the lead, followed by Samsung, Huawei, Honor, and Redmi.

Among the most popular models in quantitative terms were:

· Redmi Pad SE (256 GB and 128 GB);

· Apple iPad 2021 (64 GB);

· Honor PAD X9 (128 GB).

"The bestsellers among tablets are models that combine affordable cost and advanced technologies. Redmi Pad SE and Redmi Pad 6 have become the most popular in quantitative terms due to their high performance, large screens, capacious batteries, and impressive amount of memory. These devices meet the needs of the mass market, providing comfortable use for study, work, and entertainment."

On the other hand, the iPad 2021 remains a favorite among users looking for a reliable and productive device based on iPad OS with long-term support from Apple. This tablet is chosen by those who want to get the quality of the premium segment without overpaying for the newest models.
