Mobile Inform Group has released a new generation industrial tablet — MIG T8X Gen. 2 with an RTK receiver. The device is designed for professional surveying, mapping, agriculture and automation of mobile personnel, where high positioning accuracy and reliability in various weather conditions are required.
The built-in industrial RTK module provides positioning with an accuracy of up to 60 cm without corrections and up to 2 cm when connecting a correction service. Protection against water and dust (IP67), operating temperature range from –20 °C to +60 °C, resistance to drops from a height of 1.2 m are provided.
Also among the main characteristics of the device are the Qualcomm QCM6490 industrial octa-core chipset, 8 GB of RAM, a modem with 5G and Wi-Fi 6 support, a removable 7000 mAh battery with QuickCharge 4.0+ fast charging support, an 8-inch display, four programmable function keys, a 32 MP main camera with autofocus and flash, two USB-A ports, USB-C with video output, a slot for microSD (up to 1 TB), Android 13 operating system.
