In 2025, Tracer processed 30 times more data than in 2024.
The team behind the free VK Tracer service has summarized the results of 2025 and announced new implementations. For example, the JavaScript-SDK from VK has been released to the public. Migrating from Sentry to Tracer for JavaScript projects is done with one click.
Asynchronous stack traces and libraries for iOS applications have appeared in the service. The unified error monitoring tool also works with the Aurora OS — support for the open mobile platform has been added.
The number of detected errors per year increased from 200 million to 6.8 billion. The number of companies using Tracer increased by 40% and exceeded 2,100, including major Russian organizations Wildberries, 2GIS, and Okko. The service is connected to 3,600 applications, and the number of active users has doubled. Tracer is used in key VK products: VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, RuStore, Zen, and others.
The service supports iOS and Aurora mobile platforms, Windows, Linux, MacOS desktops, Java, Go, and Python server languages. Analytical tools have appeared: instant alerts for critical failures, telemetry, mini-graphs, and the TQL query language for flexible error searching and filtering.
