Application areas include transport, industry, IoT, retail, smart city infrastructure, and telemedicine.
Aquarius has received two patents for developments in the field of telecommunications equipment. The Federal Service for Intellectual Property (FIPS) has confirmed the novelty and exclusive rights of the company to the hardware platform for Wi-Fi access points, providing high reliability and fault tolerance through power redundancy and antenna management.
The first invention is a system board for a wireless Wi-Fi access point with power redundancy (patent No. 2851814). It solves the problem of failures associated with the power source. Unlike standard solutions, the board supports simultaneous power from two independent PoE sources through different network ports. In the event of a failure of one source, the device automatically switches to the second, which eliminates downtime due to power supply failures. This ensures continuous operation of high-performance devices supporting all frequency bands (2.4, 5, and 6 GHz).
The second invention is a device for switching antennas for wireless Wi-Fi access points (patent No. 2853782). It allows you to quickly switch between the standard built-in antenna and the connector for connecting an external specialized antenna through the GPIO port of the SoC system processor (IPQ8072A). This solution provides deployment flexibility and expands the scope of the base board, allowing you to adapt the access point for specialized tasks without replacing the entire device.
