The VIII Annual Best for Life Design Award Ceremony Held in Moscow

Design shapes the visual environment and influences the perception of space, combining analytical approach and creative practices. This idea underlies the Best for Life Design Award.

The VIII award ceremony, which brought together specialists, brands, and creative teams working at the intersection of technology, innovation, and concern for human experience, took place on November 22.

The award covers a wide range of areas: from industrial products and household solutions to user interfaces and urban facilities. Among the laureates are: SEZAR GROUP, IMPERIAL GARDEN by Riviera, VERSHINA Development, buyson brand, Meine Liebe, VRK plant, SBER, EVERSENSE, Granel Group, STONE, Villa Ples, Vnukovo Country Club, Bytplast, Natura Siberica, Directorate of Railway Stations.

The ceremony became a place where companies and authors could share ideas, confirm their professional status, and receive recognition from the expert community.

"For a developer, design is one of the tools used to solve strategic goals, tactical tasks, and, no matter how pathetic it may sound, to realize that very big idea and mission. We create objects in which architecture and landscaping play a significant role in shaping the quality of the territory. The 1.5 million square meters that we are going to build will become a noticeable impetus for the development of the environment on a city scale. Including through expressive emotional architecture and a focus on creating iconic visionary buildings and spaces," shared Georgy Novikov, Deputy Commercial Director of SEZAR GROUP.

Participating companies demonstrate how design is transformed, responding to the challenges of the time – environmental friendliness, comfort, adaptability, emotional interaction with people. "Thoughtful design becomes a key tool for creating a comfortable and functional environment: it determines how a person interacts with a home, office, city. Effective solutions make the environment intuitive, support the quality of life and create sustainable value for business and society," said Arina Zakharova, marketer of SC VERSHINA.

According to Maria Korbezova, brand manager of NTS Gradient LLC: "Design is the language in which space and products "speak" to a person. If the language is clear and understandable, we feel harmony: things are at hand, interfaces do not make you guess, and light and shapes support the mood. Such design does not decorate reality – it improves it, making each day a little easier and more meaningful."

The noted projects also pay special attention to the comfort of public spaces. Viktor Buryak, Deputy Head of the Directorate of Railway Stations - branch of JSC "Russian Railways" emphasized: "Thoughtful design directly affects the quality of the urban environment: convenient navigation, inclusive solutions and a combination of modern materials with local architecture make the station space comfortable, safe and truly people-oriented."

Consumer preferences are not standing still – as noted by Evgeny Kayuk, Head of Marketing at EGGER: "Modern consumers are increasingly less likely to associate status with demonstrative luxury. The focus is on the demand for tactile sensations and functionality from the use of things. This trend is well illustrated by the experience of EGGER: demand is shifting towards materials that can provide both visual effect and long-term comfort."
