The technology is available for users of devices with Android version 12 and higher when updating or installing an application from RuStore and is enabled for all applications.
As "T-Bank" reported, the solution was initially developed to speed up the loading of proprietary applications for customers. However, together with RuStore, this initiative was scaled up and made available to other Android applications in the domestic application store.
The Profile Guided Optimization solution allows compiling the necessary part of the application for the device architecture when installing or updating from RuStore. This reduces startup time by up to 30% and improves frame rates by up to 20%, which will make interaction with the interface smoother and more comfortable.
