From November 20 to 22, 2026, Digitec 2026, Armenia's first and largest technology event, will take place at the Meridian Expo Center in Yerevan. Its theme is World's New AI Hub: the organizers emphasize business interaction within the international AI ecosystem. The program will combine an exhibition, a conference, and business meetings focused on finding partners, developing joint projects, and implementing AI solutions in business.

Over two decades, Digitec has evolved from a single-pavilion exhibition into an international platform uniting technology companies, entrepreneurs, investors, and government representatives.

In 2025, the anniversary twentieth Digitec gathered over 30,000 visitors, more than 200 exhibiting companies, and over 100 international speakers. Representatives from more than 30 countries and over 100 business delegations participated in the event.

In 2026, the organizers will pay special attention to developing contacts between technology companies from Europe, the USA, and Central Asia, as well as investment communities from the Persian Gulf countries and the UAE. Participants will be able to discuss joint development and implementation of technologies, supply of computing infrastructure, attraction of investments, and entry into new markets.

Armenia is developing its AI infrastructure and ecosystem

The development of artificial intelligence is becoming one of the directions of Armenia's technology industry. According to Digitec organizers, in 2025, the country's technology sector turnover amounted to 2.6 billion dollars. The industry employs 1,286 companies and 59,000 specialists.

The foundation of the technological ecosystem is strong training of specialists in mathematics and natural sciences, scientific traditions, and international connections. Today, NVIDIA, Microsoft, AMD, Synopsys, Broadcom, Cisco, Adobe, Siemens, and other technology corporations operate in Armenia.

Companies with Armenian founders have also gained international recognition, including Picsart, ServiceTitan, and Gecko Robotics. Picsart is valued at 1.5 billion dollars, Gecko Robotics at 1.25 billion dollars, and ServiceTitan, traded on NASDAQ, exceeds 9 billion dollars.

One of the directions for the development of Armenia's AI infrastructure is related to the Firebird project. According to the company's plans, by the end of 2027, its infrastructure in the country will include over 70,000 NVIDIA GPUs with a capacity of 300 MW. Firebird's international strategy provides for increasing the total infrastructure capacity in Armenia, Kazakhstan, and other countries to 2 GW by the end of 2028.

The organizers consider Armenia's geographical location an additional factor in the development of international cooperation. According to data provided in the event announcement, the country is at comparable distances to Frankfurt, Dubai, and Almaty — key hubs in Europe, the Persian Gulf, and Central Asia. The course towards rapprochement with the EU is reinforced by international connectivity: 48 airlines operate in Armenia, flights are carried out to more than 70 direct destinations, and in 2025, 5.6 million passengers used the country's airports. Ties with the Armenian diaspora in Silicon Valley also contribute to interaction with the American technology sector.

These features are also reflected in the concept of Digitec 2026, within which the organizers intend to unite representatives of various segments of the international AI industry.

Five directions of the conference: from scientific research to infrastructure

The Digitec 2026 conference program will be built around five directions, covering the main components of the artificial intelligence economy — from fundamental research to the creation and use of computing infrastructure.

One direction will be scientific research in the field of AI and the application of artificial intelligence in science. Participants will consider issues of open and closed research, as well as access to computing resources. Another direction will be devoted to applications and services — the development and implementation of AI in products, platforms, and services for various industries.

A separate place in the program will be given to issues of state regulation, artificial intelligence development strategies, and policies in the field of computing resources. Another thematic block will unite technological entrepreneurship and investments: the development of AI companies, interaction between founders and investors, and capital attraction.

The fifth direction will be dedicated to artificial intelligence infrastructure — computing power, energy, and the physical basis necessary for the operation of AI technologies.

Thus, the program will cover the entire technological chain — from energy, chips, and computing power to data infrastructure, artificial intelligence models, and applied solutions. This approach will allow discussing not only individual developments but also the possibilities of their joint use in commercial projects.

B2B program: business meetings and joint projects

One of the components of Digitec 2026 will be a business program focused on developing international contacts and finding opportunities for cooperation.

In a separate B2B zone, participants will be able to hold individual meetings with leaders of technology companies, startup founders, and investors. The main emphasis will be on discussing specific commercial tasks — from technology supply and joint development to the implementation of AI solutions and entry into new markets.

For developers and technology providers, such meetings will be an opportunity to present their products to potential customers, discuss their tasks, and outline the next steps: technical consultation, product demonstration, or pilot project development. Companies interested in implementing artificial intelligence will be able to compare offers and find partners with the necessary expertise.

Separate formats are provided for startups, venture funds, and international delegations.

In particular, the program includes pre-arranged individual meetings between startup founders and investors. Participants will be able to present their products, business models, and development plans.

Business delegation programs are aimed at more than 500 international companies from target regions. They will be aimed at developing contacts between representatives of various markets and discussing potential joint projects.

Within the Digitec Deals Lounge, invitation-only meetings with a limited number of participants will be held. This format is intended for substantive negotiations on possible cooperation.

In addition, thematic and regional forums are planned — closed evening sessions for representatives of investment communities, dedicated to industry opportunities and regional markets.

To organize business communication, the Digitec application is provided, through which participants can pre-select potential partners and schedule individual meetings. This approach will allow moving from initial acquaintance to discussing the next steps: exchange of technical requirements, individual presentations, discussion of cooperation terms, or subsequent negotiations.

Along with the conference and business program, an important part of Digitec 2026 will be the exhibition of technological solutions.

In 2025, more than 200 exhibiting companies participated in the event, and 84 companies were presented in Startup Alley. 16 international media also presented their projects at Digitec, and diplomatic presence was reflected by more than 30 ambassadors and diplomatic missions. In 2026, the organizers expect to exceed the key indicators of the previous event.

The event is organized by the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises of Armenia (UATE), which has united more than 300 member companies since 2000. The organization is engaged in the development of the country's technological ecosystem, interacts with the government of Armenia on industry policy issues, and participates in the training of engineering personnel.
