At the "Microelectronics 2025" forum at the Sirius University of Science and Technology, the RSC Group and HyTech presented the first domestic computing system for artificial intelligence with a performance of 1920 TOPS.
The LinQ HPC hardware and software complex, jointly developed by RSC and HyTech, is based on Russian technologies. It is based on two LinQ HPS AI accelerators for high-density computing, created on the basis of the RSC ScaleStream-C external PCIe switching array developed by RSC and connected to a server included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
RSC said:
The key advantage of LinQ HPC is the absence of third-party intellectual components. The system is based on the first universal LinQ HPS accelerator in Russia with the original LinQ H architecture, which does not use third-party IP cores. This solution is fundamentally different from existing products on the market, which depend on foreign technologies and may contain hidden vulnerabilities.
The complex provides a performance of 1920 TOPS when working with 8-bit integers. As emphasized by RSC, this is the maximum figure among Russian developments. The system is equipped with 1280 GB of multi-channel DDR4 ECC memory. This allows processing large amounts of data and simultaneously running more than 100 neural network models. At the same time, the system latency is 2.3 milliseconds for ResNet-50, and can be reduced to 1.5 milliseconds with optimization.
The system consumes 3000 W, there is a built-in temperature monitoring and dynamic operating frequency control system.
