The changes come into force one month after the date of publication – October 15, 2025.
The Ministry of Justice of Russia has registered an order from the Federal Tax Service of Russia, approving the formats for the electronic unified transport document.
The unified transport document is a document intended for processing cargo transportation using two or more modes of transport: road, rail, air, sea, or inland waterway.
According to the Federal Tax Service, the formats allow for the creation of documents confirming the conclusion of a contract for the carriage of goods in direct mixed traffic, as well as confirming the conclusion of a contract for the carriage of a passenger, hand luggage, baggage, and cargo baggage.
The formats are advisory in nature. They are expected to speed up document flow and simplify interaction with tax authorities.
