This is the first official platform that gathers the necessary materials for developers: documentation, installation packages for Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu, design guides, the ROSA Controls library, code examples, and testing tools, including a unique ROSA Mobile simulator.
The ROSA Mobile simulator, running on the ROSA Fresh operating system, recreates the mobile OS desktop and allows you to run simple applications that do not require specific hardware, making it convenient for debugging interfaces and components not related to the device.
The portal provides a development environment for the main popular operating systems: for Windows, a few-click installation with a ready-made environment setup is offered; for macOS, instructions for setting up and connecting an emulator; and for Ubuntu, a step-by-step guide with the installation of Visual Studio Code, the ROSA Mobile plugin, Docker, and Oracle VM VirtualBox with a virtual device image, as well as support for building under the aarch64 architecture via qemu-user-static.
Some of the materials on the portal developer.rosa.ru are available after authorization: registered users can download installers for the development environment and simulator, access closed documentation and APIs, and also request technical support.
