The proprietary server was initially announced at the provider's flagship conference, Selectel Tech Day, in October 2024, and was previously distributed under a rental model.
The server is assembled on Selectel's own assembly lines in Moscow and St. Petersburg using the provider's component warehouse. Key technical specifications include up to two Intel Xeon 6 processors (6700E and 6700P), up to 8 TB of DDR5 RAM, and a proprietary motherboard.
As noted by Selectel, the server architecture allows for the distribution of computational load in 1C clusters: simultaneously processing requests from a large number of users, performing parallel calculations, and working with large databases. The product can be complemented by the SelectOS operating system, optimized for the server.
Near-term development plans include support for CXL parallel computing technology, which allows servers to be combined into a single system with shared memory and flexibly scale resources for specific tasks.
