This is a cloud solution for backing up S3 buckets with full access control.
The new service is primarily aimed at large companies with high requirements for data security and safety, as the storage is not accessible from the company's environment, and even in the event of a cyberattack, the copy in S3 Vault will remain intact.
The new solution provides an additional level of information protection by copying everything to an isolated IT infrastructure. S3 Vault works automatically, supports data volumes up to petabytes, and includes scheduling, alerting, and access control functions.
The storage is built on Airflow and Kubernetes, which allows flexible management of backup tasks. Access to data is strictly limited and provided only upon request. The task scheduler provides the ability to configure backups according to an individual schedule. To work with large amounts of data, the system implements mechanisms for parallel processing and task prioritization.
