IT distributor OCS and the Russian company "Okos Intellekt", which develops telecom equipment under the Torus Systems brand, have signed a cooperation agreement.
According to OCS, as a result of the cooperation, Torus Systems equipment will become more accessible in the regions due to the addition of new supply channels — OCS's distributed partner network, regional offices, and the distributor's electronic b2b platform.
The OCS portfolio includes Torus Systems portable PoE injectors — engineering tools for launching network devices in the field. The devices operate from a standard power tool battery, supply power and data over a single cable, are compatible with active PoE IEEE 802.3 af/at (36-50 V) and passive PoE 24-30 V, which allows launching cameras, access points, and other equipment without connecting to a 220 V network.
OCS noted:
Thanks to the partnership, the vendor's products will be available to the wide OCS partner network through online and offline channels: over 7,000 dealers and integrators will be able to purchase Torus Systems devices on the b2b portal, as well as in the distributor's regional offices, which are located in 23 cities of the Russian Federation.
As a reminder, "Okos Intellekt" is a Russian technology company founded in 2024. Under the Torus Systems brand, portable PoE injectors, L3 managed switches with non-blocking architecture, PoE support, built-in LTE modem and eSIM module, its own operating system and device management system are developed and manufactured.
