New features have appeared in working with pivot tables, options for grouping data in the filter, and the long-awaited autofill function when "dragging" values in tables for days of the week and months.
In the spreadsheet editor, the ability to expand or collapse a pivot table or chart to any level of data detail in almost one click has been implemented. The command is available from the context menu, in the "Expand/Collapse" section. Also, the filter drop-down menu now has an option to group by year, quarter, and month. This will facilitate data analysis and will be useful when compiling reports.
The analytical capabilities of the editor have also improved. A "What If" data analysis function has appeared. The tool allows you to quickly assess various scenarios and see how changes in input data affect the calculation result. The new feature will complement the existing Goal Seek.
Also, the new version implements autofill for days of the week and months. It is enough to enter "March" or "Monday" in the cell, hover the mouse over its lower right corner and drag in any direction - the result will be a cyclic series of values. In addition, the names of the arguments of the TEXT, TEXTBEFORE, TEXTAFTER and TEXTSPLIT functions can now be used in Russian translation.
In addition, support for files in .xml format (XML Spreadsheet 2003) has been implemented. Also, in the macOS version, the ability to specify an arbitrary sequence of pages in the print dialog of documents and presentations has been added.
