According to bank data, the most popular spending categories in 2024 were:

Seasonal Spending Features
Supermarkets
Supermarkets remain the undisputed leader in the number of purchases. The average check in 2024 was 797 rubles. The highest average amounts were recorded in the first quarter (824 rubles), which is associated with the New Year holidays, Defender of the Fatherland Day and International Women's Day on March 8.
Restaurants and Fast Food
The average check for visiting restaurants and fast food outlets was 753 rubles. The first quarter again became the leader with an indicator of 761 rubles, followed by the third quarter (760 rubles) and the second (747 rubles).
Clothing and Shoes
This spending category ranks first in terms of average check size — 5,898 rubles. The largest increase is observed in the fourth quarter (7,225 rubles) due to seasonal purchases of outerwear.
Perfumes and Cosmetics
The average check in perfume and cosmetics stores was 2,299 rubles. The highest figure was recorded in the fourth quarter (2,566 rubles) due to the popularity of New Year's gifts.
Gas Stations
At gas stations, the average check in 2024 was 1,478 rubles. The fourth quarter again became the leader (1,514 rubles), which is explained by the increased activity of motorists.
