The top manager will focus on further expanding the distribution portfolio, commercial efficiency of the company, and developing new areas.
On March 1, 2024, Oleg Fomenko was appointed as the CEO of Merlion Group of Companies. He will succeed Sergey Raskolov in this position, who held this post in the company twice – in 2013–2016 and from February 2023. Sergey will continue his leadership activities in the Group of Companies as a member of the Merlion Board of Directors.
Oleg Fomenko is a graduate of Rostov State University of Economics with a degree in "Information Systems in Economics." He has been working in the IT field for over 20 years. Oleg began his career in 2003 in the "NCA-group" project (manufacturer of laptops under the iRU brand) as a sales manager. He then headed procurement divisions in large federal b2c companies, and since 2017, he headed the telecommunications product procurement department at Merlion. Since March 2023, he has held the position of Director of the unified procurement department of Merlion and Citilink.
