The Industrial Mining Association (IMA) and multiple world champion, president of the Chess Federation of the Moscow Region, Sergey Karjakin, have announced the signing of an Agreement to support the "United Russia" party project "Zа Chess". This year, the IMA will provide support for the organizational activities of Sergey Karjakin's chess clubs in the "United Russia" Public Support Headquarters in the Republics of Buryatia and Khakassia, Voronezh, Irkutsk, and Samara regions.
"I am confident that chess in Russia still has everything ahead of it, and the opening of new chess clubs will give an additional impetus to the development of this intellectual sport. The project is being scaled up to the entire country, and it is planned to involve champions in it. This is necessary so that children can play more often with each other, compete with famous chess players, and improve their level, which, as I have already noticed, is very high in these regions," emphasized multiple world champion Sergey Karjakin.
"The opening of Sergey Karjakin's chess clubs in the areas where the member companies of the Industrial Mining Association are present will allow us to find talented children in the regions and introduce them to chess. After all, chess develops logical thinking and acquires the ability to quickly analyze and find optimal solutions. All these qualities are so necessary for the younger generation, which is the main personnel potential for us," noted Sergey Bezdelov, Director of the Industrial Mining Association.
The development and opening of chess schools and clubs will improve the overall level of education and make life in the regions more interesting, as well as strengthen Russia's intellectual sovereignty. It is symbolic that cooperation with Sergey Karjakin began in the Year of the Family and will contribute to the continuity of generations, since chess clubs will be open to both children and adults.
