ВТБ оснащает торговые сети POS-терминалами с возможностью оплаты по СБП через NFC

VTB Bank is one of the first to launch a pilot project using new acquiring equipment in retail chains – PAX D320 POS terminals, which allow accepting payments through the Faster Payments System using NFC. The bank plans to install terminals of this model for existing and new clients.

The payment method via SBP using a cash payment link is available for any iOS and Android smartphones that support NFC. The buyer simply needs to bring the mobile device to the terminal and then confirm the payment with one touch of the screen or using biometrics.

PAX D230 is one of the most modern terminals with 4G and WiFi connectivity; it can also be used as a stationary terminal if there is a wired Internet connection. For contactless data transmission of the Faster Payments System payment link, the terminal is equipped with a special antenna.

«We continue to expand the scope of contactless payments using NFC, as the most convenient way to pay for goods and services – with one touch of a smartphone. This time, we are introducing the ability to accept payments via SBP through NFC on our POS terminals and have already begun installing new type terminals at our clients' points of sale and plan to replace outdated devices as needed,» – noted Alexander Botsiev, Head of Transactional Business Department – Senior Vice President of VTB Bank.
