VTB is the first among Russian banks to develop a banking application for the domestic Aurora operating system. Testing of the new service will take place from November 2023 to June 2024.
The prototype of VTB Online, created for the Aurora operating system, supports all the main and popular services among users: transfers and payments for every day, payment by camera using a QR code, quick search for ATMs and branches using geolocation, updating profile data through Gosuslugi, support for a dark theme for comfortable work. Aurora is a certified domestic mobile operating system and services for building an isolated trusted working environment for large companies and government institutions.
«VTB pays increased attention to the development of digital channels and the introduction of its financial services on new platforms. In the near future, we will be the first among Russian banks to become available through Aurora – a secure domestic operating system with all the necessary set of certificates for uninterrupted operation. At the same time, Aurora allows you to fully use VTB Online based on hybrid web technology, so clients, as always, will have the opportunity to choose the channel of interaction with the bank that is most convenient for them,» – noted Svyatoslav Ostrovsky, member of the VTB board.

Today, the Aurora operating system offers a set of services for everyday work on the Internet, including services for security, working with documents and mail, conducting online conferences and many others.
