The product developers have expanded the functionality for working with Microsoft Active Directory, added a Cluster Config page, and the ability to install Tantor platform agents on virtual machines through the Ansible configuration management system.

Tantor Labs (part of the "Astra Group") announces the release of a new version of the modular database (DB) administration and monitoring platform based on PostgreSQL Tantor 3.2.

The developer continues to release minor releases – Tantor 3.2 includes a number of improvements related to working with Patroni. The interface now displays information about the last cluster state update time, and a Cluster Config page has been added, allowing you to define common settings for all cluster nodes at once. The new version of the product has the ability to massively install Tantor platform agents on virtual machines through the Ansible configuration management system, which will make this process more convenient and efficient, especially for organizations with a large number of databases.

Tantor 3.2 also expanded functionality for working with Microsoft Active Directory. The list of users now displays the type of each: Local or external – AD, and their level of rights corresponds to the type. External users cannot edit their profiles, local users can only be added to internal groups, and the ability to include them in AD groups is blocked.

The Advanced Analytics system and the process of adding tokens have also been improved: after loading the logs, the calendar and the "Logs" button remain on the screen, and a Tokens page has appeared in the user profile where you can add a new device.
