The Russian manufacturing company Systeme Electric, a manufacturer of integrated solutions in the field of power distribution and automation, took first place in the ranking of "TOP-10 Vendors of Engineering Solutions for Data Centers in Russia" in 2023. The study, presented by ICS-MEDIA at the annual international forum "Data Center," involved leading experts from the largest domestic data centers, designers, and consultants.
The conference also featured a map of vendor perception, which was evaluated based on criteria such as equipment quality, breadth of product line, staff qualifications, stability, openness, and the availability of in-house developments.
Roman Shmakov, First Deputy General Director of Systeme Electric for the "IT Solutions" and "Service" market, cited the company's main advantage in this area as the availability of an ecosystem of products and solutions, the elements of which constitute a comprehensive offering for the engineering infrastructure of data processing centers.
"Equipment efficiency has already virtually reached its limit, and further growth is only possible through a systematic approach to engineering infrastructure. We offer an ecosystem of products that are combined with services and digital tools. These include single-phase and three-phase uninterruptible power supplies, cooling systems, rack systems, cabinets, power distribution systems, and a full range of services for monitoring, managing, and maintaining equipment at all stages of the project lifecycle," said Roman Shmakov.
In addition, Systeme Electric specialists demonstrated advanced solutions for computing centers to forum participants: the InfraSysteme comprehensive engineering infrastructure for data centers, as well as the Russian software Systeme Platform, which provides automation for data centers and other industrial and civil facilities.
Among the new products are the Excelente series UPSs, which replace APC Symmetra PX500 and Galaxy VM/VL. These are modular, scalable three-phase UPSs for protecting loads in the range of 50-600 kW. The Excelente series UPSs provide up to 97% efficiency in double conversion mode and up to 99% efficiency in ECO mode.
The modular architecture of the UPS allows for configurations with internal redundancy, increased power, and replacement of power modules, control modules, and static bypass modules by the customer's service department without interrupting the load. These products have extensive capabilities for local and remote monitoring. Thanks to their characteristics, the Excelente series UPSs provide reliable protection for medium and large data processing centers, as well as critical commercial and industrial infrastructure facilities.
In addition, new Uniprom Rack server cabinets and Uniprom Rack PDU rack power distribution units were presented, which form the basis of the equipment placement subsystem in the data center. They make working with IT equipment convenient and safe, and the use of the most expensive space in the data center – the machine room – efficient and technologically advanced.
At the company's booth, conference attendees were able to familiarize themselves with Systeme Electric single-phase UPSs from the Back-Save, Smart-Save, and Smart-Save Online series, designed, in particular, to protect computing and telecommunications equipment in communication nodes and small server rooms, and power distribution devices – SystemePact, SystemeLine, and SystemePLC programmable logic controllers.
