Bank "Saint Petersburg" congratulates on the Programmer's Day, which is celebrated in Russia on September 13, and makes mortgages for specialists working in the field of information technology even more accessible.
In September 2023, BSPB began to operate under the updated (according to the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation) conditions of the IT mortgage – a preferential state program aimed at supporting employees of Russian IT companies.
According to the new conditions, employees of IT companies under the age of 36 will be able to apply for a preferential mortgage loan without taking into account the requirements for the minimum salary level. Prior to the innovations, potential borrowers had to earn at least 120 thousand rubles a month in cities with a population of millions and from 70 thousand rubles a month in other settlements. At the same time, the minimum salary of specialists working in Moscow must be at least 150 thousand rubles a month.
The easing of the program conditions from the Government of the Russian Federation and a favorable rate from BSPB will increase the accessibility of the program for young specialists. Thus, in addition to the base rate (5% per annum), Bank "Saint Petersburg" provides a discount, due to which the minimum rate on IT mortgages in BSPB will be only 4.65% per annum.
The remaining parameters of the IT mortgage remained unchanged. The maximum mortgage amount can reach 18 million rubles when purchasing housing in regions with a population of 1 million people or more, and 9 million rubles – in others. The initial payment is at least 20% of the cost of the object of lending under the "Apartment", "New Building" programs, at least 35% – under the "Residential Building" program. The maximum loan term is 30 years.
