The Russian manufacturing company Systeme Electric (formerly Schneider Electric in Russia and Belarus), a manufacturer of integrated solutions in the field of power distribution and automation, continues to provide ProDiag electrical equipment diagnostics, which allows detecting hidden equipment defects before a failure occurs and assessing its wear and tear.

Following the diagnostics, the customer receives a detailed report with an assessment of the equipment's condition and recommendations for maintenance, repair, or replacement. The recommendations obtained as a result of the diagnostics help the customer to draw up a plan for maintenance and modernization of the device, which will minimize accidents and unplanned downtime, as well as predict costs.

“Ensuring a high level of service and repair, as well as improving the operational efficiency of equipment, are among the priorities of Systeme Electric. Remaining the only authorized service partner of Schneider Electric in Russia and Belarus, Systeme Electric continues not only to provide high-quality warranty service for the previously installed base, but also offers the market solutions for diagnostics and repair at the post-warranty stage of operation, which allow extending the service life of equipment,” said Roman Shmakov, First Deputy General Director of Systeme Electric for the IT Solutions and Service market.

The diagnostic process is as simple as possible for the client and does not require any effort from him. The engineer visits the customer's site with a diagnostic complex. He identifies the device, connects sensors and measuring devices to it, and takes key kinematic and electrical characteristics. The information received is analyzed by the software (the received characteristics are compared with the reference ones), after which a detailed report on the condition of the equipment is compiled.

Currently, Systeme Electric provides three types of diagnostics for equipment manufactured by Schneider Electric: ProDiag Breaker – assessment of the operability and wear of low and medium voltage circuit breakers; ProDiag Trip Unit – checking the operability of releases; ProDiag MV Relay – checking electronic relays of medium voltage circuit breakers.
