Today, a joint event of the distribution company OCS and "Inferit", a Russian manufacturer of computer equipment, servers and infrastructure software. "Inferit" is the former Softline Computers division, now an independent company, a vendor of infrastructure solutions.
Today we will talk about the "Inferit" product portfolio: "Inferit OS" - development, design and implementation of Russian Linux operating systems; "Inferit Cloudmaster" - software for managing multi-cloud and private IT infrastructure; "Inferit ITMan" - software for managing IT infrastructure and controlling information security; AKB "Barrier" - certified secure equipment for working with state secrets; "Inferit" partnership program.

Oleg Epishin began his speech with a story about the history of "Inferit", which began 5 years ago. Then the Softline Computers direction was created. It began with the production of personal devices, but quickly began to develop, increase production capacity, and expand the product line. A little later, server production was added. And by the end of 2021, the beginning of 2022, it became obvious that, on the one hand, our production capacity had greatly increased, it became possible to produce a large amount of diverse equipment, the quality of our products was also constantly growing, and the equipment produced began to be in certain demand. On the other hand, in 2022 the market changed a lot, many Western vendors left, and those niches that were almost impossible to enter before were freed up. Therefore, the management of the Softline group of companies decides that the Softline Computers direction should be separated into an independent business. Previously, it was mainly engaged in the internal needs of those companies that sold equipment within Softline. But the management decided that it was time to enter the Russian market. For this, a separate company, a legal entity, was created, which in 2022 was renamed "Inferit". But in 2023, other product areas, which were also gradually renamed, began to be pulled under this brand. But they all have one thing in common. Both equipment, production, software development and solutions, and cloud technologies - all this is the development and intellectual property of "Inferit". Now we represent several directions. There is the production of software and hardware complexes, there are infrastructure solutions, there are solutions related to clouds. The purpose of the presentation is to tell about what products we represent.

The production is located in the Moscow region, in Fryazino. These are workshops for the manufacture and assembly of personal computers and servers. There is a large own warehouse. The company conducts foreign economic activity, i.e. can work with China to purchase platforms and components. But it also works with the main Russian suppliers. We make this choice based on efficiency in terms of both timing and price. We have a standard line, but we can also produce non-standard things. It depends on the requirements of the customer, the deadlines and the cost of work. The production is located on the territory of "Istok", a special economic zone. The production area is about 5000 square meters.
In September, a surface mounting line was installed there, and we will also produce components. In the fall, at the end of October, deadlines are set for obtaining an entry in the Register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The entire line will be submitted there. In the very near future, it is planned to submit servers to the Register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. By 2024, we plan that all other machines will be included in the Register plus our own production of parts of components will be established.
"Inferit" focused on the most popular configurations. We do not focus on complex specific solutions in our standard line.
As for servers. Standard platforms are produced on the basis of "Ivnino". We have a long-standing relationship with them. R&D helps to develop circuit designs, board topology, specifications for complex IT systems. The most popular form factors are used. These are mainly mass form factors 2U, as well as 1U, 4U, 3U. Hot-swappable hard drives are supported. More often we have two-processor systems with the most basic needs for disks, memory, power, and weight.
Now about personal computers. We produce laptops with screens of 14 and 15.6 inches, with memory of 8, 16 and 32 GB, with disks of 256, 512 GB and 1 TB. We have practically no retail models, i.e. some desktops, the cheapest ones, are approaching the retail segment. We produce Micro-tower, Slim, Mini and Micro desktops, on processors from vendors such as Intel and AMD. All the main form factors are available, just like everything is configured with or without traffic. We can even assemble gaming machines, this is also sometimes ordered.
A few words about monoblocks and nettops. Here, the main diagonals and main configurations are also used (23.8 and 27 inches, RAM - 8, 16, 32 and 64 GB). The warehouse is a large number of components, but we also have some things for small deliveries, for operational use in the warehouse. Therefore, some desktops are assembled, but for the most part they are made to order. If there is a need for laptops or monoblocks with a specific configuration, then, of course, this will be done in the required quantity and on time.
The standard warranty is one year for laptops, monoblocks, computers and 3 years for servers. Equipment repair is carried out in accordance with the terms of the SC agreement or at the production site. The warranty repair (replacement) period is 14 calendar days. Processing of applications received via e-mail from 8:00 to 18:00 five days a week. At the same time, the response time is approximately up to 8 hours. The collection and delivery of equipment is carried out at the expense of "Inferit".
The company also has an extended warranty, it is up to 5 years for laptops, monoblocks, computers and servers. Equipment repair is carried out in accordance with the contract or at the place of operation. The warranty repair (replacement) period is 3-5 business days if equipment is available in the warehouse. The response time to applications received by e-mail is about two hours. The collection and delivery of equipment is carried out at the expense of "Inferit". The provision of replacement equipment is also provided. All warranty service is provided via the hotline. Customers apply, and implementation is carried out with the help of IT clinics. For this, you need to conclude an agreement with "Inferit".
With a standard warranty, SLAs are standard, and with extended warranties, SLAs are more serious, it is possible to add a dedicated manager to the client. This is also important when the organization is large. In this case, repair or replacement occurs much faster.
A few words about a new direction that we recently had, this is "Inferit IB". In this direction, there is a solution called "Barrier". This is a solution certified by the FSTEC for working with state secrets.
AKB "Barrier" products are protected from information leakage through the PEMIN channel and can be used on computer equipment of the 2nd and 3rd categories, can be installed in dedicated rooms up to the 2nd category inclusive and in protected rooms. Also used for processing information containing information constituting state secrets and other restricted information.
The advantages of AKB "Barrier" are that they do not differ from ordinary PCs, there is no restriction on the use of software, it is possible to execute the product on the basis of various monoblocks and system units.
The solution in companies has been on the market for a long time, it is well known. These are solutions based on a secure ARM that can be installed in an environment that requires working with state secrets. Two main form factors are certified. The first thing that is important is that there is no binding to a specific configuration. The binding goes by form factor. Either it is "Istok" of different sizes, or a monoblock. The company "Inferit" has its own laboratory, where its own configuration is created for a specific task, if the components are already known, then they can be purchased, if the customer brings new unknown components, then research, checks, and special preparation begin.
By the way, now the first department has begun to take security more seriously, including due to the increase in military orders, so more and more computers must meet specific requirements.
Then the floor was taken by Vasily Guryev, Director of "Inferit ITMan", he began to talk about how you can earn money on "Inferit ITMan". This is a Russian platform for managing IT infrastructure and controlling information security. This is, in fact, a box that can be delivered in its channel, here project activity is minimized. The development itself is underway
in the company since 2011. We were around even when there was a lot of imported software on the Russian market. We found ways to make money in IT infrastructure management. We created this product without using Open Source. Now potential customers classify incoming products simply with one question: "Do you use Open Source?" Moreover, if at the beginning of this year this question was asked by one out of ten potential customers, now every other one asks about it. Naturally, our software is in the Ministry of Digital Affairs register. Our platform itself was formed in 2021, and then February 2022 hit. During this time, we have made more than 20 project solutions, gained 300 new clients, and have more than 200 thousand devices under maintenance.
What can you earn right now? The global trend, the wave that drives all sales, is now import substitution, as banal as it sounds. But this summer we conducted a global Come Back study of our customers. And probably, the first or second question that interested customers was the question of import substitution. When something is really implemented in a company, then, of course, they start with the operating system, i.e., they replace the Western OS, for example, with "Astra". Customers, replacing the operating system with "Astra", begin to drastically lose control over their infrastructure. They understand that it is impossible to control "Astra", because it is an exceptionally interesting distribution. And this applies not only to the "Astra" product.
Based on the "Inferit ITMen" platform, we build products ranging from inventory, data collection, supply, accounting, monitoring and control, vulnerability scanning, software installation, and everything else. And all this in one interface.

"Inferit ITMen Inventory and Accounting", here the main feature is that the customer works on the basis of sensors, can collect what others cannot collect, for example, eliminate the diversity of operating systems. "Inferit ITMen Data Delivery" provides comprehensive "extraction" and data delivery.
"Inferit ITMen" automates work from the beginning of data collection to the delivery of data to colleagues who are responsible for IT processes. We can help companies develop starting from 500 employees, the next stage is 2000 employees, then 10 000 employees, and finally the largest ones - companies with hundreds of thousands of devices connected to the network.
