The merger of the retail customer base of Otkritie Bank and VTB will begin in the fourth quarter of this year. At the first stage, the bank plans to transfer about 300,000 customers with credit products to full service. The main stage of integration of the retail business is scheduled for the second to third quarters of next year. This was announced in an interview with the Russia 24 TV channel by Anatoly Pechatnikov, Deputy Chairman of the VTB Bank Management Board.

In the first half of July, VTB clients made three times more transactions to pay for cellular communications using the assistant than they conducted during the entire previous month. In total, in the first half of the year, VTB clients conducted more than 10 thousand transactions using the voice assistant in VTB Online, which is twice as much as in the same period last year.
