"Signaltek" has begun developing a domestic network card with bypass technology, designed to maintain data transmission during equipment failures. The solution is planned for use in hardware complexes, including DDoS attack protection systems.
As emphasized by the developers, the card is intended to be a Russian alternative to foreign Silicom solutions. The manufacturer is preparing four versions of the device with configurations 2×10G, 4×10G, 2×40G, and 2×100G. The equipment is designed to operate in the network line between the operator's communication channel and the traffic protection system.
In normal operation, data passes through a software complex that analyzes traffic and, if an attack is detected, can direct it for scrubbing. If the protection system fails, overloads, or is temporarily shut down for maintenance, the bypass switches the connection to direct transmission mode. This allows subscribers to maintain access to network services.
"Signaltek" reported that the device was developed using domestic electronic component base, microcontrollers, and PCB material. The company is currently preparing prototypes. Serial production is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027, with an initial production volume of about 1,000 cards.
