The Yandex B2B Tech team has announced a universal AI agent for business, expected to be released by the end of September 2026. The solution is designed to automate daily office processes and, according to the company's estimates, will be able to perform 30 to 50% of tasks for employees – accountants, marketers, analysts, procurement specialists, and others.

The developers call the project an "operational AI system" for business. The agent will become a single interface for working with corporate services and applications, accessing them on behalf of the user. It will be able to prepare documents using templates, manage document flow, compare commercial offers from suppliers, analyze candidates during recruitment, generate reports, and perform other multi-stage operations.

Each significant AI action will be confirmed by the user, and companies will be able to restrict access to internal data and track the agent's decision sequence. It will also be possible to create custom workflows without programming, using internal knowledge bases, email, and other corporate data sources. The agent will be able to perform tasks in the background, work on a schedule, and notify users of task completion.
