The Russian company Mobile Inform Group has introduced an updated line of explosion-proof smartphones, MIG S6 Gen. 2, designed for use in hazardous areas and industrial facilities. The devices are built for long-term operation in challenging conditions and are used for communication, photo and video recording, as well as digitalization of mobile inspections and maintenance.
The line includes versions on Android 13 and Red OS M, including a special intrinsically safe mining version. Modifications with a built-in 2D scanner are available upon request. All devices are manufactured in Russia.
The smartphones are equipped with an octa-core processor with a frequency of 2.4 GHz, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, a 6-inch shock-resistant screen with 500 nits brightness, and support 2G/3G/4G networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, as well as GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo. The main camera has a resolution of 20 MP, and the front camera is 5 MP.
The model complies with the requirements of TR CU 012/2011 and can be used in mines, as well as in hazardous areas 0, 1, 2, 20. Additional accessories are available for the device, and the warranty is two years with the possibility of extended service up to five years.
