The system is designed for corporate IT environments and has already been implemented in more than 5,000 client infrastructures.
OCS and IT infrastructure service provider Selectel have begun promoting the SelectOS server operating system among the distributor's partners.
SelectOS comes with a set of pre-configured server software, including web servers, load balancers, and backup tools. Updates are provided through Selectel's local data storage in Russia. The operating system is included in the register of Russian software, which allows it to be used in critical information infrastructure projects.
The partnership will allow OCS to expand its portfolio of domestic system software, and Selectel to increase the availability of SelectOS for corporate customers. The vendor will gain access to additional promotion tools, including online demo stands and technical support. Olga Skulova, Director of the Information Security and Software Department at OCS, emphasized that the cooperation will strengthen the position of both companies in the infrastructure software market and allow partners to implement a modern Russian OS in customer projects.
