The Yandex team has expanded the functionality of the "Neuroyurist" service. It now provides guidance on procedural law within civil and commercial arbitration proceedings. As the press service explained, this new feature will help lawyers handle routine tasks more quickly, such as determining the subject matter of a claim or assessing the prospects of a case review.
The service provides detailed answers to questions related to procedural rules, explaining the rules and consequences of various decisions. For example, lawyers can find out up to what point a motion to admit evidence may be filed or what the procedure is for suspending proceedings in a case.
The update also makes it possible to clarify procedural issues in seven substantive areas of law that "Neuroyurist" already covers: labor, corporate, information, contract, and advertising law, consumer protection, and intellectual property.
To recap, "Neuroyurist" is Yandex's AI assistant trained to answer legal questions with references to the "Garant" legal reference system across various branches of law. In addition, the service can work with user files and allows users to create their own knowledge bases. Yandex launched "Neuroyurist" in November 2025.
