The calculation bases of both indices were formed on the recommendation of the Index Committee and will take effect from March 20, 2026.
The public joint-stock company «Group of companies «Basis» announced that its shares were included in the calculation bases of the broad market and information technology indices of the Moscow Exchange. A free-float ratio of 17% has been set for the company.
Ordinary shares were included in the calculation base of the Broad Market Index. The Moscow Exchange Broad Market Index (MOEXBMI) includes the top 100 securities selected based on liquidity, capitalization and the proportion of shares in free float. This index serves as the basis for the formation of other Moscow Exchange indices. The calculation base includes shares with a free-float ratio of at least 5%.
The Moscow Exchange Information Technology Index (MOEXIT) is an industry price index that reflects the dynamics of public Russian IT companies. «Basis» will become the 10th company in the index. It is calculated on the basis of the capitalization of issuers, taking into account free-float, and is formed from shares of companies that meet the requirements for liquidity and market structure. The index serves as a benchmark for assessing the state of the technology sector and is used by investors to compare the dynamics of individual securities with the industry as a whole.
General Director of «Basis» David Martirosov commented:
Inclusion in the Broad Market Index and the industry IT index is a natural step for us to increase the visibility of the company in the capital market. We view inclusion in the Indices as an additional driver for increasing liquidity and sustained interest in the company's shares.
As a reminder, «Basis» is a Russian vendor and developer of software for managing dynamic IT infrastructure. To date, the company's solutions form the basis of more than 230 federal and regional state information systems and services.
