3500 online stores can already sell goods through "Alice AI" and Yandex search.
The Yandex team introduced the Yandex Commerce Protocol (YCP) agent commerce protocol, which will ensure the integration of online stores with artificial intelligence. As the press service emphasized, this is the first such solution in Russia.
With its help, users will be able to place orders through a chat with "Alice AI" and Yandex search, paying for purchases through "Yandex Pay" or in installments through "Split". The seller receives all the information about the order and processes it independently.
YCP offers four connection options: automatic for stores on "Yandex Kit", a module for "1C-Bitrix", integration through the "Yandex Goods" cabinet, and connection via API for stores on their own platforms or other CMS.
Companies that want to connect among the first via API can leave a request in the waiting list for participation in beta testing. According to Yandex, 3500 online stores can now sell goods through "Alice AI" and search.
