The «Aquarius» company has introduced a new version of the AqNOS 7.6.0 network operating system for AQ-N3000, AQ-N5000 and AQ-N6000 series switches. The key innovation is High Availability (HA) technology for AqStack switch stacks.

Now a stack combining up to 16 devices supports the role of hot standby. If the main management switch fails, its functions automatically switch to the backup, which minimizes downtime during failures and ensures maintenance without interrupting the network.

The second important change is the support for Layer 3 subinterfaces (L3 subinterfaces), which allow you to logically separate networks and optimize port usage. This solution is suitable for isolating traffic from different data center tenants or company divisions.

The update is available for download on the official «Aquarius» portal. All switch models are included in the Register of Russian Industrial Products and domestic software of the Ministry of Digital Development. The next major functional release is AqNOS 7.7.
