The solution meets the requirements for multifunctional network-level firewalls of protection class 4.
The certificate was issued under the new rules established in 2023. Kaspersky NGFW has also been assigned the fourth level of trust, which means that it can be used to protect significant critical information infrastructure facilities (SCII), state information systems (GIS), automated process control systems (APCS), and personal data information systems (PDIS).
The certificate applies to all hardware and software suites within the Kaspersky NGFW model range — the entire Kaspersky Extension line successfully passed the tests: KX-3500, KX-1000, KX-400 and KX-100.
As a reminder, Kaspersky NGFW is a next-generation firewall from Kaspersky Lab. According to tests, the solution's Detection Rate for detecting and preventing network threats exceeds 95%. It is designed for medium and large companies with network infrastructure of any complexity and load, including those falling under regulatory policies in the field of information security.
